Hosting & comedy

Your host with the most… range.

Helen Scott was practically born under the lights. As an ex-professional musical theatre performer, she’s spent a lifetime on stage, mastering how to read a crowd, hold their attention, and leave them roaring for more. From showstopping vocals to laugh-out-loud comedy, Helen’s stagecraft is second nature and it shows every time she grabs a mic.

A woman with blonde, curly hair is standing on a small stage, holding a microphone, and singing or speaking. She is wearing a black sleeveless top and leopard print pants. The stage has a black curtain with fairy lights hanging and some potted plants. The lighting has a pink hue.

She made her mark under the glitter balls of London’s West End, hosting iconic cabaret nights at Proud Cabaret and Café de Paris, where quick wit, powerhouse vocals, and fearless crowd work became her signature. Today, she brings that same sparkle, humour, and razor-sharp timing to brunches, theatres, comedy clubs, and live events of all shapes and sizes.

A woman with curly hair, dressed in a white fluffy jacket and black leggings, is kneeling on a marble-top table while holding a microphone and pointing with her other hand. She is inside a warmly lit room with modern decor, including a potted plant, a round mirror, and ambient lighting. A smartphone is placed on the table.

In 2024, Helen debuted her first solo comedy show, Live Laugh Lesbian, a bold, hilarious, and deeply honest take on love, life, and dating apps through the eyes of a millennial lesbian.

Whether she’s belting out a ballad, riffing with the audience, or spinning hilarious tales of queer millennial life, Helen turns any gig into an unforgettable experience. She’s not just a host, she’s a full-blown performer, blending musical theatre chops with authentic LGBTQ+ storytelling and comedic brilliance. The result? Events that connect, entertain, and resonate on a whole new level.

After rave reviews, it’s now headed for the Edinburgh Fringe 2026. And when she’s not writing new material, she’s MC-ing Laugh Out Proud, a monthly queer comedy night at Manchester Comedy Club known for belly laughs, community vibes, and joyful chaos.
